During summer, it’s natural to want to take your workout outside. But when the temperature spikes, you’ll need some assistance keeping cool while burning calories. I’m here to show you some of my favorite cool new workout gadgets that will make sure you don’t skip your summer workouts.
New Balance
In the summer, you want to look good and feel good when the temperature and humidity spike. So I’m going to start out with New Balance. These shirts are colorful and they’re flattering with this A-line hem. The best part is the mesh in the back. They are so light you can’t believe you’re even holding clothing. And it’s so breatheable that you won’t really feel like you have clothes on when you’re outside in the heat. The tops are $30.99-$41.99.
The New Balance pants are great. They’re high-tech, so they have silver embedded inside them to whip away sweat and keep you from smelling. But also they’re reflective, so when you go running or biking at night outside they’ll keep you safe. And then before you lose that last five pounds, maybe you want a tummy tucking panel to keep you tucked in and looking slim. These pants are $59.99, which is pretty affordable for high performance workout clothes.
Jabra’s Wireless Headphones
Jabra Sport headphones are my most favorite piece of workout equipment I’ve ever used in all my years of working out. No wires. Have you ever gone running, gone working out outside and spent 15 minutes untangling your wires from your headphones? You don’t have to with these!
You put them in and you go, so you have your headphones and Bluetooth connected. No wires, no worries. It’s $99.99 .
Boom’s Swimmer
It’s summer and it’s hot, what better way to workout than in the pool? Worried you can’t take your music with you? You can! If you have Bluetooth or your phone, then you can connect to these cute Boom’s Swimmers. This little tail connects anywhere. You can hang it on the side of the pool. You can even go in the water. It’s waterproof 3 feet for 30 minutes. It’s light, durable, and drop resistant.
And if you want to, you can have a suction cup. The suction cup will connect to the side of the pool or even if you’re having a barbeque party outside and you just want a big speaker, this will work as well. The Boom’s Swimmer is $59.99. Great to save your summer pool workouts.
Power Glove
When you’re in a pool doing your workouts you think, ‘I can either do laps or water aerobics.’ But what if you like high-intensity interval training like I do? Well the Power Glove from Aqua Sphere is your answer. They were created by Olympic swimming medalist Amanda Beard.
You can put the glove on and move your legs while doing upper cuts. Doing the breaststroke, working your upper body and arms is also great. So in the water, this is the tool you need to have. These are $29.95 and if you want ideas for moves on the back of the box they have a whole bunch of ideas and they have Youtube videos you can reference to kick up your workout.
Takeya Iced Tea Maker
To me, nothing says summer like refreshing ice tea in the fridge and it’s great after your workout. Check out the Takeya iced tea maker. This is great because you boil water.
Then you pour it in with fresh tea leaves and you steep for 3 minutes. Then, remove the tea leaves. Pour in some ice. Shake for 30 seconds and then you have your fresh iced tea that’s chilled and ready to drink. The Takeya Iced Tea Maker is $24.99-$29.99.
