  • 2 cups chickpeas boiled
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • add oil in a pan and fry cumin seeds..
  • then add salt and red chilli powder..
  • now add tomato and stir some water into the mixture to get a thick gravy..
  • now add chickpeas into the gravy and mix well..
  • finally add onion and lemon juice stir until onions become soft..
  • garnish with chilli or coriander leaves..
  • spicy chickpeas are ready..
