The challenge in shifting brick-n-mortar to click-n-mortar is to cope with the high demand for the product along with the delivery arrangements.
In the survey conducted by financial giant visa on the mode of payment during the pandemic, the result concluded that 55% of the people are willing to used cards for payment rather than cash on delivery. Considering COD the possible reason for the spread of Coronavirus.

As people have embraced social distancing as a way to slow the spread of the pandemic. There has naturally been a drop-off in brick-and-mortar shopping. That would seem to mean there would likely be an increase in online shopping as people turn to e-commerce to purchase the items they might have otherwise purchased in person.
